Stewie arrived with her littermates on Oct 1 saved from a farm in Delta. She is a delight! Vaccinated, dewormed and viral negative and ready to go to an amazing loving home!
One in photo on far left has been adopted ( Kira) along with Sister Abigail.
One in other photo on the left is Mr. Fluffy the only male and his sister.
Lady Papoute ( the pretty white cat formely known as File # SV-7863) was surrendered to kill shelter by her Owner as she “had no time to take care of her”. She was slated to be gassed today( 10/4) so we saved her. She is a spayed and declawed 7yr old female 4.4 kg but she lost a pound in the shelter it is so stressful. She is a darling and beautiful girl with such gold eyes and a coat of white plush! She loves to make dough on your lap. She loves attention. She jumps on your shoulders. Very darling.
Her mom was Hit by a car and killed. She was hand raised. She is super darling tiny girl. She is less than 1 kg in weight and a dilute grey/ torti playful princess.
These two boys need to be remembered. I had told the shelter that I would save them and that transportation was arranged. The shelter in Quebec euthanized them anyways without telling me or the transport people. How tragic and I am broken hearted with their cruel fate caused by lazy shelter staff that don’t care about any life but more about work load. They would have been safe and loved forever. I am devastated.
adopted with Abigail her sister
Theo is the most exquisitely marked 4 yr old neutered male Bengal? tabby cross whose feet have all been declawed. He seems calm and affectionate even when he was in the horrible Quebec shelter. He is apparently used to a halter and to going for walks outside but we wont be confirming this. He is viral negative.
Another tragic story of a cat taken to a kill shelter when her senior parent moved intoa home and could not care for her anymore. She is clearly traumatized and sad. She is a 5 year old spayed female who is declawed on all FOUR feet. She will need a loving home to get her back on her feet :-(
Lucie is a sweet, fun, affectionate young tortie female. The second photo is after she arrived at the shelter. She was going to be gassed in a gas chamber the next day. The first photo is her getting out of her carrier at chez Bay Cats after Freedom Drivers got her to us from Quebec. She is now spayed, vaccinated and so desperately wans to be loved :-)
Josephine is a sweet female that was a found as a stray and taken to a kill shelter in Quebec. The first photo is after she arrived to us. She obviously tried her hardest to save herself from the carrier on the 12 hr drive to us and she had rubbed her nose raw. It is healing well. The photo bordered by pink is when she arrived in the kill shelter. We spayed her and sadly she was pregnant. She is sweet as can be and is settling in nicely. She is accepting of people and cats and even my 3 little dogs! She is a CUTE cat for sure!
Sami is an affectionate friendly handsome SWEET young brown male tabby from the Quebec shelter. He is now neutered and viral tested and vaccinated and ready for YOU!
He was a little scare-dy pants even though he is the biggest in the litter! Look…in the carrier on the way here he was pushed to the very back by Alfie, Princess Peach, Orange and Chloe…poor guy! He’s black….they always seem to be overlooked :-(. He is at Dr. Jess’s house right not as she has Marbles another rescue that needed a buddy. They love to play. He will eat treats from your hands. He does not yet sit on your lap or come to be picked up but that is what you as a cat rescuer, who can see beyond that and see the love he has to give understands and will love to see how your love and devotion will let him blossom. Don’t overlook this handsome Panther.
She is settling right into her foster home. Sarah’s kitty Daisy loves to chase her. She is a big PURR bucket. This litter sure all are! Sweet little kitten that just needs a chance!
One of Ceilia’s little boys. Loves to be cuddled and purrs but still a little shy. So handsome! Loves snuggling with his friends! Very kitty social :-)
He is a scared little boy. He is currently in a foster home to get more trusting of people! We are hoping for a foster fail( which means they will adopt him permanently) but we don’t know, He was 8 weeks old when we took this photo upon arrival from Quebec.
Just the cutest little 9 week old kitten. She is cool with EVERYTHING…dogs, cats, commotion. She was found starved on Queen St East and the Don River. No one claimed her so now we can keep her and find her the best home.
The sweetest little purrer. She just melts into you and purrs.
